Hello! I'm Soraya Sheikh.

I'm a Women's Coach and Menstrual Mentor, and I advocate that a healthy menstrual cycle is the foundation of a woman’s physical, psychological and spiritual well-being. I teach women how their body’s natural, cyclical rhythm can empower them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being, and how it serves as a portal to heightened states of consciousness. By embracing feminine consciousness, women can approach their bleeding years as a rite of passage, celebrating the evolution of this life phase. If you want to be empowered with insights and tools to improve your well-being, helping you to live a life of vibrant health, I welcome you here.

You deserve to feel at peace, whole and comfortable in your body

A Paradigm Shift

We are being called to embrace a more holistic approach to women's health - one that recognises the foundational role of our sacred menstrual cycle. Menstrual Cycle Awareness is not just about understanding reproductive health; it's about recognising its profound implications for women's physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being.

By acknowledging the unique complexities of female biology and respecting their voices and experiences, we see huge improvements in women's health and well-being. By honouring the rhythmic fluctuations of our menstrual cycle, we can better tailor our approach to how we care for ourselves, empowering us to achieve vibrant health and vitality.

Most haven't been taught the nuances of our menstrual cycle, forcing us to live out of alignment with ourselves which has detrimental effects on us, on our communities and on Mother Earth. Your menstrual cycle is a blessing and a healthy cycle is the foundation of your physical, psychological and spiritual well-being.

Together, we can rewrite the narrative from Periods = Pain to Menstrual Cycle = Magic.

The women I’ve mentored have learnt how to live in harmony with their body’s natural cyclical rhythm, helping them reverse issues like depression and anxiety, PMS and PMDD, bloating and cramps, endometriosis and PCOS, which has afforded them the opportunity to reconnect with the power and wisdom of themselves.

I'm here to guide you on a journey of vibrant health, self-discovery and empowerment. Together, we will explore the intricate rhythms of your menstrual cycle, uncovering the wisdom and healing potential within and introducing you to the magic of your menstrual cycle.

Success Stories

"I am honestly surprised by the level of insight I have gained from the practice of menstrual cycle awareness. It has enabled me to develop a greater understanding of myself and to hold space for my changing emotional and physical states with greater compassion and kindness. In developing this greater understanding of self I find my relationship with my partner is more harmonious, as I am better able to understand and communicate my changing needs."

Samantha | Yoga Teacher

"For about a year before I joined Discover Yourself, my periods were about 55 days apart. I had visited my GP who suggested going on the Pill to regulate my cycle, but I really didn't want to do that due to all the side effects they can cause. Within 2 months of working with Soraya, my period came at 26 days, which was amazing! I also started to see patterns in my emotional state. It's such a good feeling as I feel so much more connected simply by paying attention."

Mairi | Trainee Counsellor

“By charting my cycle and learning to anticipate when I might be feeling more vulnerable, I now know that during certain seasons of my cycle, I might need extra rest, support from loved ones, or simply more time for myself. This awareness has empowered me to take control of my mental health in a way I never thought possible.”
